What is the deal with the AZ Cardinals?

After all the time that a certain reciever has put in in the desert they still wont give this guy a contract.  I'm talking about Anquan Boldin.  The man has put in his time and has been extremely productive, not to mention, came back early from an injury that would have sidelined any other man for an extended period of time.  The man is an absolute stud and a model of consistancy no other has put up numbers like him consistantly.  Give the man his just due and pay the man what he's worth and to the Cards that is a lot.

Never thought I'd see the day.

Sorry to those of you that visit the lounge, it's been a while since I've made an appearance myself.  All of that is due to a crazy bitch I was seeing for a couple of years, she freakin' ran me over with her car. I am currently in the hospital rehabing a broken leg, back, ribs and am waiting for my scalp to grow back since they had to staple it back to my nugget, but none of that pain compares to the pain I'm feeling for my U of A Wildcats basketball team.  Not only did we lose in the first round of the Pac-10 tourney, but we lost to our hated rivals the Scum Devils of Arizona State.  I never thought I'd see the day that the Wildcats would lose their dominance over ASU on the hardwood.  Ever since the departure of Lute Olsen it has been painful to watch my beloved Cats steadily lose their place among the country's elite basketball programs to become nothing more than an also ran.  Never thought I'd see the day that we could miss the tourney, the big dance had almost become an annual event for us.  Now I don't even think that I can watch it this year.  It's cornflakes without the milk, like peanut butter with no jelly, ham with no burger, the Commadores with no Lionel for crying out loud, it just isn't the same.  Never thought I'd see the day!

Media Overkill

I am already sick and tired of all the media coverage surrounding the Super Bowl, and the game hasn't even been played.  By the time the game comes I almost don't want to see it.  What I think they should do is play the game the weekend after the conference championships.  I mean why stretch it out so long.  It just becomes overkill.

Really, the Cardinals?

Yeah I'm still pretty stunned over the Philadelphia loss to the Cardinals. To be honest with everyone. I, an Arizona native, never thought this day would come. I have been an Eagles fan for 22 years, as long as the Cardinals have been in AZ. I wanted to root for the Cards but they never gave me much to root for, aside from beating Dallas every so often. Now they are finally a contender, really! Although, they had to beat my beloved Eagles to get there. So I tip my hat to that franchise, you finally put together a winner. May this ultimate wish for all you die hard Cardinal fans, turn into a reality. I never thought i would say this being an Eagles fan but, GO CARDINALS!!!!!!!! I hope they beat the hell out of the Steelers!
